Chiefs-Eagles Week 2 sets multiple viewership records
There were plenty of eyes on the Super Bowl rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- There were plenty of eyes on the Super Bowl rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
The game even set multiple viewership records, tallying 33.8 million viewers.
Viewership records include:
- Fox's most watched Sunday regular season telecast
- Most watched Week 2 NFL telecast ever
- Most watched September/October game ever
- Most watched telecast of any kind since the Super Bowl
- Up 21 percent over compared to last year's Week 2 matchup
The Eagles ended up defeating the Chiefs 20-17 on the road, their third straight win over the Chiefs and the first three game losing streak of Patrick Mahomes career.
The game was also filled with plenty of Tush Push controversy as the Eagles ran the play the seven times. The play has been the topic of conversation over the past week.
The Chiefs have been ratings darlings since Mahomes became their starting QB in 2018, and then soared to new heights when Travis Kelce began dating Taylor Swift.
They'll be in the national spotlight again next week as they search for their first win against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football.
