Road construction on Route 9 in Hadley begins this week
HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) - Paving starts back up in Hadley this week on Route 9.
The Hadley Police Department states it will begin Wednesday morning between Mill Valley Road and Route 116. Drivers are being asked to avoid this area altogether, especially as traffic picks up with the end of the college semester.

Additionally, a portion of Rocky Hill Road will close down Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m. while crews work to repair a drain pipe that is causing a sinkhole to form at the base of a utility pole. It will be closed between River Drive and East Street. Work will run into 3:00 p.m. A lane will also close on Bay Road near Isabel Court on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
