Serious injury crash results in woman flown to hospital

EL DORADO SPRINGS, Mo. — A 41-year-old woman from Kansas was flown to Cox South with serious injuries after her car crashed into a tree.
According to the El Dorado Springs Volunteer Fire Department, on May 5, at 11:11 p.m., first responders were dispatched to roads 801 and 450 concerning a car crash needing extrication—a person trapped inside their vehicle after a crash.

A press release stated the extrication required three trucks, 13 firefighters and a helicopter.
