Three people safe after a house fire in Northwest Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Springfield Fire Department responded to a house fire around 4:00 Friday morning in the 1200 block of West Chase Street. Battalion Chief Jay Lisenby says the fire was quickly put out.
Three adults who were living in the home were outside when firefighters arrived. The American Red Cross is assisting the residents as the house had significant fire damage.
Battalion Chief Lisenby says the three adults had minor smoke inhalation but refused medical attention.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
