SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Two people are in stable condition after being shot in downtown Springfield on Sunday morning.
The Springfield Police Department (SPD) tells Ozarks First that they are currently investigating after a report of a shooting near South Patton Avenue and West Walnut Street around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday.
SPD says they made contact with one of the victims with gunshot wounds after a report was made of hearing gunshots in the area. The second victim showed up at the hospital later with gunshot wounds.
Both victims are in stable condition at the hospital. Police say that no suspects have been arrested at this time.
