On Saturday, December 7th, just after 7 a.m., the Crawford County Sheriffs Office received a call reporting a housefire located at 389 South 190th St. in the unincorporated community of South Radley.
Deputies, EMS and Fire responded to the structure fire.
An adult female victim was found deceased in the residence.
The residence was severely damaged by the fire.
Investigators from the State Fire Marshal’s office were contacted and responded to the scene.
The body was transported to Kansas City for autopsy to determine the cause of the death.
The name of the victim is being withheld until positive identification could be made.
The cause of the fire is under investigation according to Crawford County Sheriff, Danny Smith
