Bard College at Simons Rock to lay off 116 employees
GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. (WWLP) - More than 100 employees will be laid off at a college campus in Berkshire County later this year.
The looming shutdown of Bard College at Simon's Rock and Bard Academy at Simon's Rock in Great Barrington will cost 116 jobs.
The layoffs will be effective June 30th but some will stay on until December 31st. The college and academy announced their planned shutdowns in November.
Both will move to Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY.
