Since former President Donald Trump was elected, many in Washington has been fixated on the phenomenal sprawl of the federal government and the necessity to do something about it.
It’s called DOGE – an acronym for a Department of Government Efficiency that could exist under incoming President Donald Trump.
Last week the richest man in the world, Elon Musk and former Presidential candidate and biotech investor Vivek Ramaswamy went to Capitol Hill to talk about government overspending.
Missouri 7th District Congressman Eric Burlison was there.
Surprisingly, Burlison says most of DOGE’s biggest critics aren’t on the left. [Texas Congressman] “Chip Roy (laid it out to them and told them about all the votes Republicans have made to grow government,” Congressman Burlison said.
“Elon said we’re going to keep track of who is an obstacle and we’re going to tell the American people who the obstacles are.” Burlison stated.
“I welcome that,” Burlison said. “I think that that’s awesome.”
