The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on Nov. 25 on suspect Haris Vlahovljak, 30, of the 7800 block of Sagebrook Court, 63129, for statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy on a person less than 14 years of age.
Vlahovljak is being held on $300,000 cash only, no 10%, bond.
The charges are merely accusations. The defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
According to a probable cause statement, the victim, 13, disclosed to the children’s division, police, family members and at a forensic interview that in July, Vlahovljak touched his genitals under his clothing. The victim also stated that Vlahovljak bought him several items including clothing, electronics and jewelry.
The St. Louis County Police Department Crimes Against Persons detectives are leading this investigation, and suspect that Vlahovljak may have had contact with additional victims.
