City Utilities down to 6,858 without power
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — City Utilities (CU) electric line crews are continuing their work to restore electric service to customers after the severe storm of Tuesday, April 29.
CU says of 9 p.m. Thursday, May 1, approximately 6,858 customers remain without electric service.
Crews will continue working overnight to make repairs and restore electric service, CU says.
The current number of power outages is down from more than 50,000 without power on Tuesday afternoon, and 18,000 without power on Wednesday evening.
