Delivery driver robbed after dropping off package in south St. Louis
An armed suspect robbed a delivery driver Tuesday afternoon in St. Louis shortly after he dropped off a package, police say.
ST. LOUIS - An armed suspect robbed a delivery driver Tuesday afternoon in St. Louis shortly after he dropped off a package, police say.
The robbery happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 3100 block of Keokuk Street in St. Louis' Dutchtown neighborhood.
Investigators say, as the delivery driver returned to his van after dropping off a package, a suspect in all black clothing was leaning against his van.
The suspect announced a robbery, flashed a gun, and stole some cash and cigars from the delivery driver. He then ran away in the northbound direction, according to a SLMPD crime summary report.
The delivery driver was not hurt. No suspect information is available at this time.
