Elderly man dies after crashing into home in south St. Louis
An elderly man died after crashing a vehicle into a home Friday in south St. Louis, police say.
ST. LOUIS - An elderly man died after crashing a vehicle into a home Friday in south St. Louis, police say.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reports that an 80-year-old man died in the collision. His identity has been withheld.
The crash happened at an undisclosed time Friday in the 3900 block of Burgen Avenue in St. Louis' Holly Hills neighborhood.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they removed the victim from the car and conducted CPR before rushing him to a hospital. The victim was later pronounced deceased.
No one was inside the home during the crash, and no other injuries were reported. Police have not yet determined what led up to the collision.
