Greene County Office of Emergency Management asking residents for damage reports

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Springfield-Greene County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) says it needs residents to continue sending them damage reports from the major storms last week.

OEM says the damage reports are needed for their team to send to both the state and federal government to help apply for a disaster declaration and potentially bring more aid to the county.

Residents anywhere in the county can call 417-829-6200 to report any damage to homes, garages, sheds, etc., from the April 29 storms.

OEM is looking for the exact location of the damage, the extent of the damage, and contact information in the storm reports.
