A Northwest Missouri Republican House member has pre-filed a bill hoping to end Daylight Saving Time in Missouri.
If enacted, the bill from Representative Dean Van Schoiack of Savannah would set clocks back to standard time on November 2, 2025.
The legislation also states that if the federal government adopts daylight saving time as the new standard time, Missouri will adjust its clocks to match the federal standard.
The bill could be considered when the legislative session begins in January.
