Moore’s Sixth Inning Hit Lifts Pleasant Plains Over Lincoln
Pleasant Plains and Lincoln were tied 1-1 in the bottom of the sixth. Maddie Moore stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and delivered a two RBI single to give the Cardinals a 3-1 lead, which would be the final score. Moore also doubled and scored in the 5th. Madisen Wurth drove in Lincoln’s only run. Anna Nestler picked up the win for the Cardinals, pitching all seven innings.
