Police identify 20-year-old killed in north county, investigation ongoing
The St. Louis County Police Department is still searching for the suspect responsible for the death of a 20-year-old in north county Thursday morning.
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - The St. Louis County Police Department is still searching for the suspect responsible for the death of a 20-year-old in north county Thursday morning.
According to a release, a vehicle struck a utility pole at Glen Gary Road and Ben Nevis Road in the Glasgow Village neighborhood around 9:30 a.m.
Upon officer's arrival, they located 20-year-old Jaheim Smith in the driver's seat. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Smith had been shot at least once.
An unidentified subject was seen fleeing the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
