Seventh tornado confirmed from April 29 around Elwood

GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — A seventh tornado has been confirmed from storms that occurred on Tuesday, April 29. This tornado occurred 3 miles southwest of Elwood, Missouri.
According to a National Weather Service (NWS) survey, a brief EF-1 tornado occurred around 9:24 a.m. on April 29.
The tornado progressed northeast for a little over a minute before dissipating to strong straight-line winds at 9:25 a.m. approximately 1.5 miles southwest of Elwood, the survey says.
Lots of trees were uprooted in different directions, with some trees landing on a residence, according to the survey. The tornado also damaged a roof of a barn and the outbuilding.
The tornado had a path length of 1.55 miles, a width of 50 yards and estimated maximum wind speeds of 90 miles per hour.
