SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Springfield man was sentenced yesterday for 12 felonies and will spend more than a decade in prison.
According to a press release from the Greene County Prosecutor's Office, 37-year-old Dustin Cody Hagerman appeared in court on Dec. 17, 2024 and was sentenced to 15 years in prison for four counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of stealing $25,000 or more, three counts of stealing $750 or more, tampering with a motor vehicle, stealing a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Hagerman was arrested in January 2023 for an outstanding probation warrant. Detectives found a Flock camera image of Hagerman driving a truck and trailer, documents say, with one victim's vehicle on the trailer. Deputies found the vehicles on Hagerman's property, along with other stolen items.
Documents say Hagerman also disclosed multiple items that he stole or knew to be stolen to investigators.
Court records also show that Hagerman has an extensive criminal history and a history of not appearing in court.
