ST. LOUIS – St. Louis City officials are pushing a plan to put the vast majority of the Rams relocation settlement into a series of funds.
Those funds would be dedicated to street and water pipe repair, affordable housing and small business investment, and making the cost of childcare and college education more affordable for city families.
In a draft bill, which will be filed later this week, officials say the childcare and scholarship plans are a way to bring families back to the city.
St. Louis lost a quarter of its school-age population in the last decade.
