ST. ANN, Mo. - Two teenagers are facing first-degree robbery charges after robbing a man at gunpoint for a pair of shoes.

St. Ann police said a resident posted a pair of shoes online to sell for $150. When two teenagers showed up to buy the shoes, they pulled out a gun and took the shoes. They also went through the resident's pockets and stole his cell phone.

Surveillance video from police shows the victim following the teens in a car before crashing. Luckily, the victim was not hurt but police were able to catch the two teens.

“Some witnesses gave us some really good descriptions of the suspects, really good description of the suspect vehicle. We were able to use our flock camera system, search that and find the vehicle on our cameras," St. Ann Police Capt. Blake Carrigan said.

Police tracked the car to a home in Blackjack and arrested them.

“Seeing the two individuals responsible for the robbery get into the car, that’s when they tried to make contact with those individuals. One of the teenagers jumped out of the car with a glock with a 30-round drum magazine. He took off running," Carrigan added.

Officers found the stolen shoes, cell phone, and firearm on the teenagers. The teens, ages 15 and 17 years old, were taken to the juvenile detention center and released to their parents.
