WILDWOOD, Mo. - A tractor trailer hauling paper rolls overturned Tuesday morning on a roundabout in Wildwood.
No injuries were reported in the rollover, and first responders were able to rescue the driver to safety.
The tractor-trailer overturned at the roundabout that connects Missouri Highways 100 and 109, just south of Manchester Road.
Investigators say the vehicle was hauling several paper rolls and weighed around 45,000 pounds.
At some point, the load shifted, leading to what authorities described as a "slow-motion tipover." The driver has been rescued as of 9:20 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say the roundabout could be shut down for some time until the tractor trailer is removed from the scene.
