Trio stole $11K in merch from Victoria’s Secret, Pink stores: Police

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Three women will appear in court next month on charges connected to thefts earlier this year at stores in the South County Center.

According to the St. Louis County Police Department’s probable cause statements, the thefts happened on Feb. 8.

Police said Cherrish Morris, Porsha Carroll, Robniesha Wood, and a fourth woman grabbed a large amount of clothing, fragrances, and other merchandise from displays in the Victoria’s Secret store and then left without attempting to pay for anything. Authorities determined the total value of stolen merchandise to be $8,405.92.

Minutes prior, police said the group committed a similar theft inside the Pink store and got away with $3,156 in stolen goods.

Investigators said the women were identified using store surveillance video. The women also attempted to sell the stolen merchandise on Facebook Marketplace.

Morris, Carroll, and Wood were eventually taken into custody.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Morris, Carroll, and Wood each with two counts of stealing – $750 or more. Carroll was issued a criminal summons to appear in court on Jan. 8, 2025. Morris and Wood received summonses to appear in court on Jan. 15, 2025.
