Rain this morning will continue mainly for areas along and south of Highway 54. The rain will gradually turn off by the afternoon with only stray showers possible this evening. Even better news is that we turn the spigot completely off on Christmas.
While Christmas is expected to be dry, there could still be patchy drizzle on Christmas morning east of Highway 65. Plan for a cloudy Christmas day otherwise with temperatures in the low 50s.
Our rain chances climb again after Christmas with potentially multiple waves of rain to round out the week. More specifically, Thursday night into Friday morning. Some spots could wind up seeing 1-3" of rainfall all said and done this week.
The mild pattern is here to stay. We'll challenge the 60-degree mark towards the end of the week. Additionally, freezing temperatures aren't expected to return until the New Year.
