Two suspects charged for home invasion in Fredericktown
Two men have been charged following a home invasion in Fredericktown late Thursday night.
FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. - Two men have been charged following a home invasion in Fredericktown late Thursday night.
According to the Fredericktown Police Department, two armed men, who police have not identified, entered a home in the 300 block of Albert St. just before midnight. They wore masks and carried firearms with them.
The homeowner heard yelling when he discovered the intruders and attempted to fight them. One of the intruders fired shots to let the other suspect escape.
Police say three men inside the residence were targeted by the suspects. Nobody was injured from the gunfire.
The two suspects are charged with second-degree robbery, second-degree attempted robbery, first-degree burglary, and assault. Both are being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond.
Fredericktown Police also stated that once they acquire more assets, a third suspect will be taken into custody.
