Take advantage of today's milder turnaround because another cold front later today will usher in another cold blast tonight into Thursday. The arctic blast will drive down wind chills into the single digits early Thursday with high temperatures that will remain below freezing in some areas.
The week will end with a frigid feel in the morning but will come with the promise of warmer weather over the weekend as winds again pick up out of the south. Sunday may come with a round of cloud cover that could prevent as steep of a temperature climb in the afternoon.
There will be a slight chance for rain showers late Sunday as a storm system passes through areas to our south in Louisianna and Arkansas. We may see a stray rain shower Sunday night into Monday.
Monday is shaping up to be a transition day and may come with some clouds and cool temperatures before the next arrival of winter air on Tuesday.
