Woman dies in overnight crash in St. Charles County
One woman died and two others were hurt from an overnight crash in St. Charles County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. - One woman died and two others were hurt from an overnight crash in St. Charles County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
MSHP reports that a 62-year-old woman from Wentzville, Missouri, died in the crash.
A 69-year-old man in the same vehicle as the woman and a 41-year-old man in a different vehicle were also hospitalized from the crash.
The collision happened around 2:15 a.m. Saturday on Veterans Memorial Parkway near Lake St. Louis Boulevard.
A MSHP crash report states that the man inside the vehicle with the woman made a left turn from a private drive into the path of a second vehicle. The two vehicles collided and veered off the roadway upon impact.
The woman, not identified by name in the crash report, was a passenger inside one of the vehicles. She was rushed to a hospital, but later pronounced deceased.
MSHP Troop C, which covers much of the St. Louis region, is investigating the crash.
