12-year-old boy robbed at gunpoint in St. Louis
A 12-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint by two unidentified juvenile suspects on bicycles near the intersection of Cass and Jefferson in St. Louis.
ST. LOUIS -- A 12-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint Monday near the intersection of Cass and Jefferson, according to police reports. Two unidentified juvenile suspects approached the victim on bicycles, initially offering to buy his ski mask before robbing him.
The crime happened at around 2:20 p.m. as the victim was walking to a bus stop. When the 12-year-old refused the suspects' initial offer to purchase his ski mask, one of the suspects took out a handgun. The victim turned over his ski mask and phone and the suspects got back on their bikes and rode away.
The boy was not injured during the robbery. Police are still investigating the incident. Anyone with information should call investigators at 314-444-5327.
