Merry Christmas! The gift of rain we recently received is being wrapped up and put away until Thursday night. This Christmas will be mild in the low 50s and cloudy. Drizzle remains possible today, but nothing widespread or heavy.
Thursday during the day will be similar to Christmas. Stray showers and drizzle are possible during the day but we'll largely stay dry and mostly cloudy until the overnight hours.
Rainfall Thursday night will linger into Friday morning likely ending after sunrise. Stray showers may persist through Friday afternoon with cloudy skies.
If you're worried about this weekend, don't be. After some stray showers Saturday morning skies should be clear of any rain for a couple of days. Temperatures will also be around 60° Friday through Monday.
The mild pattern is here to stay. We'll challenge the 60-degree mark towards the end of the week. Additionally, freezing temperatures aren't expected to return until the New Year.
