Double stabbing reported in Barnhart, 1 woman in custody
One woman is in custody after stabbing two people and a K9 Tuesday afternoon in Barnhart, Missouri.
BARNHART, Mo. – One woman is in custody after stabbing two people and a K9 Tuesday afternoon in Barnhart, Missouri.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the stabbing took place in the 1900 block of Parkton Way.
Investigators said the suspect, a 48-year-old woman, stabbed a 68-year-old man and the K9 unit. The second victim, a 47-year-old woman, was injured while trying to stop the suspect from attacking the first victim.
The suspect apparently started stabbing herself after 911 was called.
A sheriff’s office spokesperson said the suspect was taken into custody and brought to a hospital.
