Gift shop in Holyoke expands to new location

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A ribbon-cutting ceremony is being held for the grand reopening of a gift and home goods boutique at its new location on Northampton Street in Holyoke.

In a news release sent to 22New, Flora-the Shop! has moved from Dillon Avenue to Northampton Street in Holyoke. The new location next to Friendly's offers a bigger space that offers one-of-a-kind merchandise from over 200 small, diverse, independent makers, both nearby and around the globe. Items include Holyoke-themed treasures, Irish gifts, unique home décor, and original artwork.

Owner, Bridget Bresnahan is a Holyoke resident and comes from deep roots dating back to the 1800s. She recently completed the EforAll Accelerator Program which offers business training, mentorship, and access to an extended professional network.

In the new location, Bridget has more room for customers to explore and has added locally made fine jewelry of Symbology by Andrew Gordon and a satellite clothing boutique of Enjoy from Shelburne Falls.
