JAY Okla. – A Grove woman accused of stealing over $100,000 from a Grand Lake gated community homeowners association is released from jail after posting bail, online court records show.
Christina Antoinette Dentmon, 42, is charged with embezzlement in Delaware County District Court in Jay.
Court records show that between July 9, 2018, and July 8, 2024, Dentmon allegedly embezzled $106,797.69 in unauthorized expenditures.
Dentmon, also known as Christina Antoinette Smith, worked for Meghan Coves Association from July 18, 2016, to Aug. 14 2024. According to an arrest affidavit, Dentmon is accused of using the homeowners’ association credit card for personal expenses without authorization.
When confronted by homeowners’ association board members with altered financial statements, Dentmon admitted to misusing the card and that “using it for personal expenses had become a bad habit,” according to court records.
Dentmon’s personal PayPal account allegedly shows 487 transactions charged to the association's credit card, which Dentmon allegedly had linked to her PayPal account, court records show.
Dentmon was the association’s office manager, managing work orders, payroll, and billing.
