Man faces first-degree murder charge in Ft. Smith
Hunter Harrell, 25, was arrested in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm and first-degree murder in connection with a homicide in Ft. Smith.

EUREKA SPRINGS, Ark. — A man was arrested for his involvement in a homicide that occurred in Ft. Smith.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, Hunter Harrell, 25, is facing charges of unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle and first-degree murder.
On July 18, Carroll County Central Dispatch received a call about a man who was covered in blood and had a gun. The Ft. Smith Police Department issued a 'Be on the lookout' for Harrell and a 42-year-old woman, Ashley Lensing, related to an alleged homicide.
A deputy managed to locate the suspect vehicle on Stoppel Road in Eureka Springs. Harrell and Lensing were still in the vehicle.
They were both taken into custody without incident and were transported back to Ft. Smith.
Harrell is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.
Lensing faces a parole violation charge.
