Man wanted for alleged car break-ins in south St. Louis
Police are searching for the man wanted for breaking into cars at multiple gas stations in south St. Louis earlier this month.
ST. LOUIS – Police are searching for the man wanted for breaking into cars at multiple gas stations in south St. Louis earlier this month.
The two break-ins happened on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the QuikTrip gas station on Hampton Avenue just south of Interstate 44 and a BP gas station on South Grand Boulevard.
The man is accused of stealing multiple purses out of those vehicles, which contained the victim's phone and other property.
These break-ins occurred during the same weekend when police reported a sharp rise in car thefts at area gas stations.
