MDC invites residents to archery workshop in Ash Grove

ASH GROVE, Mo. — Residents are invited to a workshop in Ash Grove to learn the basics of archery on Sunday, July 27.

According to a Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) press release, an archery basic workshop titled "Learning Archery: Archery Beginner" is happening at the Andy Dalton Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Ash Grove on July 27.

MDC says the event will focus on the basic information for people who are new to shooting a bow and arrow.

The event will include an indoor session at the Dalton Range's classroom, and later participants will get to test their new knowledge of archery at the static archery range.

Participants are welcome to bring their bow or use equipment provided by MDC staff.

The release says that the course is designed for ages five and up, with attendees under 15 required to have an adult with them during the program.
