Nine pounds of meth found in SW Missouri drug bust

ST. ROBERT, Mo -- The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office seized a large quantity of drugs Wednesday during a search at a residence.
On May 7, the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group, Pulaski County Sheriff's Office, and St. Robert Police Department recovered approximately nine-pounds of methamphetamine. A St. Robert woman was arrested, and is awaiting charges. The case is being referred to the DEA.

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office put out a post explaining their effort to crackdown on drugs that ruin the community. It also explains what the estimated street value and distribution impact of that amount of drugs could amount to.
- 4,082 grams
- $245,000 - $300,000 dollars
- Up to 4,000 street level transactions
The Sheriff, Stacy L. Ball, also says it could have supported 200-500 users for weeks. Sheriff Ball included a passionate reassurance to its community that it is not tolerating illegal drug use, and plans to continue its crackdown to save lives.
"We will continue to pursue those who poison our neighborhoods with zero hesitation. We will not let drug traffickers poison our streets. We will continue to STRIKE HARD, and we will continue to push forward, looking for another cockroach to stomp on," Sheriff Ball stated.
