Police investigate deadly MBTA crash in Abington
ABINGTON, Mass. (WWLP) - Police are investigating a deadly crash between an SUV and an MBTA commuter train in Abington.
The Plymouth District Attorney's Office says a person was found dead in their car after the crash. They say they don't suspect any "foul play." The crash was reported about noon at the Centre Avenue railroad crossing by Park Avenue, NBC Boston states.
The warning lights were working at the time, and the train was under the speed limit and blowing its horn.
Officials have not identified the person who died.
