RFQ - Fassnight Trail The City of Springfield is requesting the services of a consulting engineering firm to perform the professional services described for the project included on the attached list. If your firm would like to be considered for these consulting services, you may express your interest by responding to the appropriate office, which is indicated on the attachments. This letter should include any information which might help us in the selection process, such as the persons or team you would assign to each project, the backgrounds of those individuals, and other projects your company has recently completed or are now active. It is required that your firm’s Statement of Qualification (RSMo 8.285 through 8.291) be submitted with your firm’s Letter of Interest, or be on file with City of Springfield. Within each of these sections, identify the proposed team members, including the office location where they are based. Additionally, please include information about current workload, capacity for additional projects, and experience with federal aid projects. Provide project examples demonstrating specific recent experience (within the past 5 years) in each area, and for each project, include a brief description as well as size, location, estimated construction cost, actual construction cost, and any other information that may be beneficial to the selection committee. The total number of pages in the submittal (pdf) shall not exceed 10. Pages shall be 8-1/2 by 11 inches in size. The statement of qualification is included in the total page count limit. Proposers can submit for any number of the project packages or all the project packages in one statement of qualifications. The projects can be awarded to any number of proposers, or one proposer. DBE firms must be listed in the MRCC DBE Directory located on MoDOT’s website at www.modot.gov, in order to be counted as participation towards an established DBE Goal. We encourage DBE firms to submit letters of interest as prime consultants for any project they feel can be managed by their firm. The City hereby formally notifies all potential interested parties that it will affirmatively ensure disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit statement of qualifications in response to this solicitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration of award. It is required that your firm be prequalified with MoDOT and listed in MoDOT’s Approved Consultant Prequalification List, or your firm will be considered non-responsive.
