THIS IS NOT POLITICAL. I JUST WANT A SAFE COMMUNITY.
On New Year's Eve 2025, I called 911 to report a meth lab operating next door to my home — less than 300 feet from Weaver Elementary School. My blood pressure hit 224/150 from chemical exposure. Two officers responded. Their own body cameras captured them acknowledging the meth lab might exist and refusing to investigate because it would be "rude to ask." The suspect they spoke to was a wanted fugitive on an active no-bond warrant. They didn't run his name. Didn't write a police report. Officer Adams says on camera he just wants me to go to the hospital so I'll stop being a problem for him that night. The Greene County Sheriff arrested the suspect three days later on his warrant. He subsequently pled guilty to two felony drug counts.
I reported to every agency — the police, the school district, the health department, environmental services, BDS, the DEA, the Greene County Sheriff, my City Council representative, and more. Nobody investigated the meth lab.
When I asked a BDS employee why nothing was being done, I was told: "My boss already said we're probably not going to do anything." So I started asking that boss directly — at public meetings — why his department refused to act on a meth lab near a school. One day after I publicly questioned him about what conditions classify a home as "blighted," my home was placarded as an Immediate Danger.
The cited violations: deteriorated roof shingles, a tarp on a roof section, and damaged porch decking. IPMC 304.7 and 304.10. Roof shingles and porch boards.
Their own inspector visited, acknowledged my active repair progress in writing, and granted 45 additional days. Eight days later — with no new inspection — someone overrode that extension, ordered my home immediately vacated, and recorded a cloud against my property title with the Greene County Recorder before any hearing occurred. The City's standard process takes 275 days. I got 22.
This is the unedited body camera footage from December 31, 2025. Listen to what they say about me while I'm in a medical emergency near an elementary school. The Police Chief personally reviewed this footage and found "no officer misconduct."
