Vehicle crashes into telephone pole on River Road in Northampton
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - A vehicle was towed Monday afternoon following a crash into a telephone pole on River Road in Northampton.
Northampton Fire Rescue said that early Monday afternoon, crews were called to River Road for reports of a vehicle crashing into a telephone pole. No injuries were reported, but both the vehicle and pole sustained damage.
As of approximately 3:30 p.m., the fire department said that National Grid will be in the area of River Road for several hours following the incident to make repairs. Power outages are not expected.
1812 Towing assisted Northampton Fire Rescue by towing the vehicle. Drivers in the area are advised to use caution and take detours if possible.
