Vision Carthage is thrilled to welcome families to its 2nd Annual Candy Cane Hunt! The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, at Central Park in Carthage.
Children from ages one to 12 will enjoy searching for over 3,500 candy canes hidden throughout the
park. Especially lucky children will find special candy canes and take home a prize. This event is
free and open to the public.
No registration is required, but families are encouraged to arrive early before all the candy canes disappear!
In addition to candy canes, free hot cocoa and hot apple cider will be provided by Little Town Coffee
and Event Bar.
Santa Claus will make an appearance for children hoping to share their Christmas wish lists and take photos. In addition to spreading holiday cheer, Co Director, Sally Stuart hopes families will appreciate an event designed to get kids outside to enjoy the beauty of Central Park.
“Carthage Water and Electric did a fabulous job setting up the lights in the park this year, especially after the loss of so many trees from the storms that took place this spring. It’s as gorgeous as ever and we want families to experience it for themselves.”
