Weather Alert: Severe thunderstorms expected on Saturday in Massachusetts
CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - The 22News Storm Team issued a Weather Alert for some strong to potentially severe thunderstorms possible Saturday afternoon.
Friday afternoon will be partly sunny with scattered showers and the chance for a thunderstorm. Not everyone will see rain, but just be aware and keep an eye on the radar. High temperatures will be in the mid-70s to low-80s. Friday night will have scattered showers with lows in the 50s.

Saturday looks to be mostly dry in the morning except for a few widely scattered showers. We could even see some breaks of sun for the first half of the day. Saturday afternoon and evening will have the chance for thunderstorms, some of which could become strong to severe. High temperatures in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.
