ST. LOUIS -- The accused kidnapper and murderer of a Clayton woman last month is set to appear in federal court this morning.
The arraignment for 43-year-old Anjuan Mosby is at 10:30 a.m. at the U.S. District Court downtown.
He is accused of kidnapping 37-year-old Michelle Hampton from outside her home in Clayton on November 20, forcing her to withdraw cash from several banks, and fatally shooting her. Police later found Hampton's body in an alley in north St. Louis.
Mosby is charged with kidnapping resulting in death, a crime punishable by life in prison or the death penalty.
Mosby’s alleged accomplice, 36-year-old Emmanuel Suarez, is scheduled to be in court tomorrow.
