Camdenton woman arrested for drug-related crimes

CAMDENTON, Mo. — A Camdenton woman was arrested for drug-related crimes and multiple counts of unlawful use of a weapon.

According to a press release from the Camden County Sheriff's Office, Jennifer L. Schanuel, 54, faces charges of second-degree drug trafficking and four counts of unlawful use of a weapon.
On Apr. 30, Camden County Deputies and Task Force Officers from the Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force served a search warrant at The Peanut Gallery, a business on North Highway 5, in Camdenton. The business also served as Schanuel's residence.
Deputies found 54.5 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia including a scale and a pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine, and four firearms.
Schanuel was transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility and is being held without bond.
