The head of Missouri's education department says she's surprised Missouri schools are making progress in performance.
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The head of Missouri's education department says she's surprised Missouri schools are making progress in performance.
The annual performance report shows about 65 percent of districts saw an increase in scores, which accounts for student test scores and district improvement plans.
This is the first time since the pandemic that numbers are trending positively.
The State Board of Education will consider the classification of districts in January.
