Historic Sappington House to host six performances of ‘A Christmas Carol’

The Historic Sappington House is hosting an abridged production of Charles Dickens’s beloved classic, “A Christmas Carol,” at the Thomas Sappington House Museum, 1015 Sappington Road, on Dec. 20, 21 and 22.

Over the three days, six one-hour performances will be presented: Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Dec. 21 at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.; and Dec. 22 at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. The 5 p.m. performance on Dec. 21 and the 6 p.m. performance on Dec. 22 have already sold out. Each performance can accommodate an audience of 12 people.

Tickets cost $25, including tea and a scone in The Barn restaurant and shopping in the Loft Gift Shop before or after your scheduled performance. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite. No refunds are allowed.

The performances are not seated. Instead, visitors will walk through the five-room decorated house. Dance Discovery will perform as the Fezziwig party, as will the Cratchit family singers, while Anne Williams will present the dramatic recitation.
