Holland murder case heard in Palmer District Court

HOLLAND, Mass. (WWLP) - The case of the man accused of murder in Holland was heard in court on Tuesday.
Jonathan Poirier has been held without a right for bail since early March when he was arrested. He was charged with murder after an investigation sparked when the body of 29-year-old Austin Schepper was found in Holland on February 26th.
Following an investigation involving multiple agencies, including the State Police Detective Units assigned to both the Hampden and Worcester DA’s Offices, as well as Sturbridge and Holland Police, Poirier was identified as the suspect and subsequently charged.
Poirier is due back on June 27th for a pretrial hearing in Palmer District Court.
