It's going to get hot again

Happy Monday! It was a seasonally cool weekend with temperatures on Sunday in the low 80s. More cooler weather to come today! Temperatures will rest in the low 80s this afternoon paired with a light northeast breeze. You may want to leave the windows open tonight as temperatures dip into the low 60s again.

Tuesday will act as our transition day with temperatures warming back up before 90-degree temperatures lock in place by Wednesday. Tuesday will feature highs in the upper 80s under mostly sunny skies. Humidity will be slow to return, but it is coming later this week.

We jump back into the summertime on Wednesday and stay there through the weekend. Several days in the low to mid-90s are likely with limited to no rain expected this week.

Rain chances may be on the horizon just past the weekend, however. A cold front will move near the region, giving rain chances a boost in the Ozarks by Sunday. The impact of cool weather is still questionable.
