One year aniversary of Monett and Aurora EF-1 tornado

One year ago today a tornado outbreak occurred across the Midwest which resulted in 179 confirmed tornadoes across 22 different states. Locally, the two heaviest-impacted areas were Moneet and Aurora.

It was here that an EF-1 tornado tracked just over 10 miles northeast into southern Lawrence County before lifting southeast of Aurora. The tornado was 150 yards wide, with winds reaching up to 95 miles per hour.
While 5 fatalities occurred with that tornado outbreak, thankfully, none were in the Ozarks. Here's a gallery of some of the tornado damage that occurred that day.
