CRAWFORD COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Springfield was seriously injured in a motorcycle wreck during the early morning hours of Aug. 1 in Crawford County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the wreck occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on I-44 at the 211 mile-marker.
As a 32-year-old man from Springfield was westbound on a 2020 Harley Davidson Low Rider S and slowing down because of traffic, a 39-year-old Springfield man driving westbound on a 2007 Harley Davidson collided with the Low Rider's rear.
The 39-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was transported via ambulance to Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. He was wearing a helmet, per the report.
Both motorcycles received minor damage.
