WARSAW, Mo. — A bond hearing has been scheduled for a Warsaw man accused of multiple crimes.

According to online court documents, Terry L. Wade, 53, is scheduled for a court hearing on July 15 for charges of third-degree assault, first-degree property damage, resisting arrest, and driving while intoxicated.

According to the probable cause statement, on May 5, the Benton County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a report of property damage to an RV at 31604 Highway 83 in Warsaw. Deputies performed a traffic stop on Wade, who was driving through the parking lot.

According to the statement, Wade was unable to focus, had slurred speech, and could not find his wallet or proof of insurance. Deputies said Wade's breath had the odor of intoxicants as he spoke.

After denying field sobriety tests, Wade became aggressive. While officers attempted to detain him, Wade allegedly grabbed an officer by the head and neck with both arms. The officer received an abrasion on his elbow.

According to the probable cause statement, the estimated damage to the camper was $6,500.
